Building capability

Training sessions grow skills, share knowledge and build cohesiveness. They provide a common language and a peer group that can provide support and encouragement. They put the team on the same footing and let us identify each other’s strengths. And they’re a cost-effective way of growing your team and growing yourself.

But there’s a caveat: training sessions are only cost-effective if you have a follow-up programme. Unless you do, in six months you might as well not have bothered. 

I encourage leaders to be part of any training so you know what your team knows, you can rolemodel and lead from the front. Importantly you understand where the gaps are and can be an effective coach after the session.

I have an array of modules which I can mix and play with from inspiration communication to working collaboratively, running good meetings, presentation skills, influencing skills, negotiation skills, coaching skills, business-writing skills and time management. I design bespoke sessions specially for the needs of your team.
